Are you ready to apply your electrical expertise in dynamic, technically challenging environments? For our headquarters in Veghel, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Project Engineer RMR to strengthen our Retrofit, Modification, and Renewal (RMR) team. In this role, you take ownership of the complete electrical design for upgrade, modification, and renewal projects within our customers’ operational material handling systems — supporting their increasing demand for improved performance, reliability, and lifecycle extension across a growing installed base. From power distribution architecture and bills of materials to control diagrams using Industrial Ethernet and ASi bus technologies, you will deliver clear and comprehensive design packages for enclosures, cabling, and installation. This role puts you close to the action, working in close contact with our customers and our internal multidisciplinary experts to deliver solutions that keep their systems running at peak performance. Every day is different—no two projects are alike. You will work on multiple projects simultaneously, from sales review to execution. Each requires creativity, technical expertise, and a proactive mindset.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivering the complete electrical design scope for RMR projects, ensuring effective upgrades and modifications to our customers’ operational material handling systems.

  • Design power distribution architectures and prepare accurate bills of materials for all electrical components.

  • Produce control diagrams incorporating modern industrial communication technologies such as Industrial Ethernet and AS‑Interface (AS‑i).

  • Deliver complete electrical enclosure and wiring designs, including cable specifications and circuit layouts.

  • Create clear installation drawings and assembly instructions to support smooth on‑site execution.

  • Support commissioning activities with structured checklists, guiding the process from initial electrical connection through final I/O testing.

  • Utilize advanced CAD tools (AutoCAD, EPLAN) and contribute to the improvement of engineering tools, standards, and workflows.

What do we ask from you?

  • Vocational education (MTS/MBO-4) or Bachelor (HTS/HBO) degree in Electrical Engineering or similar

  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices combined with solid skills in CAD tools such as EPLAN and AutoCAD

  • Knowledge of power distribution systems and network architecture (PROFIBUS, AS-i bus, Industrial Ethernet)

  • Knowledge of IEC/ISO norms and standards

  • Knowledge of Functional Safety (Performance levels)

  • Good command of English and ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team and willingness to travel up to 10%

What We Offer: In the challenging and responsible position of Electrical Project Engineer you will have the chance to make a significant contribution to industry-leading projects and be connected to our dedicated people and customers. • Flexible working hours

  • A hybrid workplace (40% working from home and 60% in the office)

  • A Health & Wellbeing budget worth €300,- per calendar year
