Your Role: Own the Challenge

In this position, you will be responsible for the technical planning, engineering, and documentation of industrial process gas analysis systems, ensuring the compliant and timely delivery of all required technical documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle.

  • Preparation, maintenance, and management of all electrical engineering, execution, revision, and handover documentation, including layout drawings, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, terminal diagrams, P&IDs, functional descriptions, and plant overviews.
  • Development and maintenance of project-related documentation such as bills of materials, cable schedules, signal lists, I/O lists, and other technical documents required for procurement, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and plant operation.
  • Technical coordination with customers, suppliers, project management, engineering, manufacturing, and plant contractors to ensure compliance with applicable standards, successful resolution of technical issues, and effective management of engineering changes.
  • Preparation of as-built documentation and compilation of complete, standards-compliant, and customer-specific final documentation packages while continuously supporting the improvement of engineering processes and documentation standards.

What it takes to Run what runs the world

  • Completed technical education in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline (apprenticeship with master certification, technical college, university of applied sciences, or university degree).
  • Several years of professional experience in the planning and engineering of industrial plants, preferably within low-voltage electrical systems, automation technology, or process industries.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering documentation, technical design documentation, and engineering deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Practical experience with CAE/CAD engineering tools, particularly EPLAN and AutoCAD.
  • Good knowledge of relevant national and international standards and regulations in electrical engineering, industrial automation, and plant engineering (e.g., OVE, EN, IEC standards).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; SAP experience is considered an advantage.
  • Fluent German language skills and good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style combined with strong communication and teamwork skills.

In accordance with the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in Austria, the minimum salary for this position is € 60.000 gross per year (May 2026). There is a clear willingness to offer compensation above the collectively agreed minimum salary, depending on qualifications and experience.
