ANYbotics is a fast-growing tech company dedicated to shaping the future of mobile robotics across multiple industries. Join our highly talented and motivated team of more than 200+ people and work on cutting-edge robot technology.

The Opportunity

As a Field Deployment Technician in Robotics at ANYbotics, you’ll play a hands-on role in bringing cutting-edge robots into operation at customer sites around the globe. You will install and configure our ANYmal robots, provide operators with straightforward training, and expand robot usage by adding inspection missions and points of interest.

This role focuses on the practical execution of deployments: you’ll travel frequently to customer sites, ensure the robots are set up correctly, and make sure operators feel confident in using them. You’ll work closely with our Field Engineers and Customer Success Engineers, focusing on reliable, high-quality installations without the responsibility of managing long-term customer accounts.

You will be hired remotely and travel directly to customer sites from your home base. Regular travel to our headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, is expected for training and close exchange with the Customer Success team.

Joining our team means you’ll continuously grow your technical and field skills while contributing directly to successful deployments worldwide. By supporting real-world installations and feeding back observations, you will help improve both our processes and our technology.

At ANYbotics, you’ll find a supportive environment where learning and collaboration are part of daily work. We are committed to building a diverse, inclusive team where everyone’s perspective is valued. We welcome all applicants who are excited about advancing robotics and making a tangible impact. By joining us, you’ll become part of a company that encourages you to bring your full, authentic self to the team and grow with us as we scale worldwide.

The Market & Our Technology

ANYbotics transforms industrial environments in the energy, process and utility sector by introducing robotics to a wide range of novel applications that so far were beyond reach. Our mobile robot ANYmal uses legs for extreme mobility in complex environments, camera- and LIDAR-based sensing for full autonomy and obstacle avoidance, and AI for high-quality and consistent inspection results. The software enabling ANYmal to perform autonomous inspection missions is almost exclusively developed in-house. Our customers are large asset operators and industrial service providers pioneering the use of robotics technology for inspection and maintenance.

  • Conduct robot operator training and safety briefings
  • Expand robot missions by adding inspection routes and points of interest
  • Collaborate closely with diverse client stakeholders to ensure they successfully meet their predetermined project goals
  • Travel frequently, often on short notice, to customer sites worldwide, embracing diverse and sometimes challenging environments to deliver exceptional service

  • Represent ANYbotics at events and exhibitions as needed, showcasing ANYmal’s capabilities and fostering interest in our technology

Your Profile

  • EU citizenship (requirement)
  • Advanced technical degree, vocational school certification, or equivalent practical experience in mechanics, electronics, mechatronics, or robotics (Engineering degree welcome).
  • Proactive, reliable, and adaptable when working in the field
  • Fluent in English, effective communicator able to adapt to diverse audiences (technical proficiency, cultural background, etc.)
  • Enthusiastic about frequent travel (up to 80%) to various field locations, including industrial and remote environments. Comfortable adapting to different cultural context
  • Legal right to live and work in Spain (requirement)
  • Driver’s license (Class B)
