Your role and responsibilities

Participate in Product Development and Project Support for PV & BESS projects all around the world.

You will become part of a high-performance team responsible for the grid integration support of

power converters and power plant controllers, that are manufactured by the company, for PV plants & BESS markets.

Location: San Fernando de Henares, Madrid (not mandatory)

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

  • Grid model development of multi-megawatt 3-phase converters and Power Plant Controllers in PSCAD, PSSE and/or DIgSILENT PowerFactory software.
  • Grid code surveillance to identify new requirements that will launch new developments.
  • Grid integration studies of PV & BESS projects to confirm correct dimensioning and grid code compliance.
  • Converter and PPC model correlations with testbench and HiL results.
  • Technical notes generation with the grid code compliance analysis of power converters and PPCs.
  • Support on converters and PPCs parametrization of PV & BESS plants.
  • Pre-sales support on PV & BESS plant dimensioning and technical questions from customers.
  • Sales support with customers.
  • Technical support for customers, consultants, and grid operators’ queries.
  • After-sales support in relation to models, grid code compliance and operational limits.

Qualifications for the Role

  • Electrical Engineer/ Industrial Engineer
  • 3 years of experience in renewable energy industry.
  • Advanced level of English (C1)
  • Knowledge of electrical power systems and grid code compliance.
  • Experience in analysis, diagnosis and problem solving on complex systems.
  • Mindset to innovate, take ownership, drive improvement.
  • Full competence on PSCAD user model development
  • Nice to have user model development competences on PSS/E and/or DIgSILENT PowerFactory.
