IS Solution Architect

We are looking for a skilled and collaborative IS Solution Architect with a strong background in both front‑end and back‑end development. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing scalable solutions, delivering high‑quality code, and driving best engineering practices across diverse teams.

The work model for the role is #LI-hybrid, Bergamo is the main office location.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Design and architect scalable, secure, and robust software solutions using modern front‑end and back‑end technologies, including highly available messaging queue systems.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance our development practices.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into clear technical requirements.
  • Promote high code quality through clean code principles, code reviews, and automated testing.
  • Develop and maintain applications leveraging ReactJS and jQuery on the front‑end and .NET  Framework 4.8 / .NET 10 on the back‑end.
  • Work with AzureDB, MSSQL and PostgreSQL to build and optimize database solutions.
  • Contribute to our DevOps strategy by working with Azure, Google Cloud, and tools like Rancher, Sentry, ArgoCD, Terraform, Datadog to enhance deployment and monitoring processes.

Qualifications for the role

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role, with a track record of successful solution design utilizing C4 model diagrams.
  • Strong front‑end development experience, ideally with ReactJS and jQuery (Angular is a plus).
  • Solid back‑end expertise with C#, Visual Basic, .NET Framework 4.8 / .NET 10, and message queue systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Familiarity with AzureDB, MSSQL and PostgreSQL; knowledge of configuration engines (e.g. Rulestream) is a plus.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of clean code principles and modern software development practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an inclusive, collaborative team environment.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, Polish is a plus

Compensation Package 

As part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position:

Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico  

Minimum annual salary: € 61.000 

Variable Pay: AIP target 15% + Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus
