Your Role and Responsibilities

You will support the development of the planning and fulfillment-related processes, skills, and tools. Supports performance improvement, including customer on-time delivery and lead time, ensuring adherence to inventory targets and supply plan optimization.

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:

  • Executing daily, plant-level Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to create and managing production requirements to meet the production delivery schedules. Monitoring schedule adherence, identifying key root causes for deviation, and taking follow-up improvement action.

  • Supporting Planning & Fulfillment team in aligning material availability to production targets being responsible for stock profile and segmenting the portfolio of materials through an ABC/XYZ analysis, product lifecycle management, defining inventory policies according to this segmentation

  • Collaborating with Buyers for obtaining the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, MOQ, quality, lead time, and flexibility.

  • Supporting organization in reaching inventory targets and ensuring adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders.

  • Managing MRP exception messages on a daily basis; supporting cycle counting and/or year-end inventory counting.

Qualifications for the Role

  • Degree in Management Engineering or Mechanical Engineering;

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in comparable positions and organizations. Previous experience in the automotive or home appliances (white goods) industry is highly preferred.

  • Knowledge of SAP;

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (in particular on Microsoft Excel) and data analysis tools (Power BI or similar are considered a plus);

  • Ownership, problem solving attitude and proactive approach;

  • Teamwork attitude, good communication skills and courage complete the profile.

  • You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken

Compensation Package 

As part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position: Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico   Minimum annual salary: €39.000,00 Variable Pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus   The offer will be tailored based on your role location, experience, skills and qualifications, internal market positioning and alignment with ABB internal standards.
