Deine Aufgaben
- Lead the development, verification and integration of the UAV Battery System.
- Lead the communication, provide inputs and accept the deliverables of the supplier.
- Manage requirements and traceability from high levels to the Battery System and Components levels.
- Develop the Battery System design- and lifecycle-related documentation.
- Translate the needs of customers and other stakeholders into the Battery System requirements.
- Prepare and conduct the design reviews for the Battery System design.
- Being responsible for the validation and verification of the requirements and generating compliance evidence for the certification by the aviation authority.
- Work within a scaled agile environment to support the Product Owner.
Dein Profil
- Engineering degree, ideally in aerospace or electrical engineering.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a systems engineer in Battery System development in the aviation or drone industry.
- Strong knowledge of the standard specifications and performance standards for the Battery Systems in airborne applications such as ASTM F3005, RTCA DO-311.
- Good knowledge of the electrical, mechanical, cell technology and software aspects of the Battery design.
- Ideally, you are experienced in technical leadership of development projects.
- Experienced with drone systems and UAVCAN/DroneCAN.
- Competent in systems engineering according to ARP4754A or equivalent.
- Proficiency in development assurance and qualification standards such as RTCA DO-160, DO-254, DO-178 is a plus.
