Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will spend approximately 80% of your time at customer sites. You will acquire new business partners and continuously develop existing customer relationships. By leveraging your technical expertise and sales experience, you will understand customer needs and clearly articulate the value of our electric motors and variable frequency drives (low voltage and medium voltage).

As a key driver of growth in our drives business, you will succeed through knowledgeable consulting and clear value‑based selling—ranging from energy efficiency to CO₂ reduction. Your objective is to deliver solutions that are not only technically strong but also contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally responsible industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Acquisition & Account Management: Spend approximately 80% of your time on site with customers, identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships.

  • Technical Consulting: Advise customers on electric motors and variable frequency drives (LV & MV) and present solutions tailored to their technical and business requirements.

  • Value Communication: Clearly communicate the benefits of our products, including improved energy efficiency and reduced CO₂ emissions.

  • Relationship Management: Build trust, identify key stakeholders, and strategically position our solutions.

  • Market & Industry Awareness: Monitor trends in the drives and motion industry and contribute innovative ideas.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical training in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field.

  • Several years of experience in sales, with strong knowledge of electric motors and variable frequency drives (LV & MV).

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 80% field‑based).

  • Strong interest in energy efficiency and sustainable solutions.

  • Fluent in German and French.
