Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will contribute to maintaining and further developing our DCS (Distributed Control System) solutions – 800xA and Sattline – and by that providing support to customers and colleagues working on delivery projects all over the world. We have today more than 50 000 controllers installed on 12000 sites in more than 100 countries.

You will be part of a team of experienced developers who, individually or in pairs, are responsible for a couple of software components. We operate using a hybrid work model, with the option to work from home up to two days a week.

  • Sattline is a DCS consisting of controllers, I/O modules, and workstations. You will be responsible for the SW in the workstations, contributing to its functionality, quality, and future evolution.

  • Given the large customer base, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical customer issues will present a significant challenge.

  • There will also be development activities covering the entire product development lifecycle, from requirements specification and coding to testing and documentation.

Qualifications for the role

  • We are looking for an experienced software developer with a strong technical mindset and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • You hold a BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • You have solid programming skills in C/C++ and are proficient in Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Exposure to embedded systems and complex technical environments is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of DCS and PLCs is considered a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, are essential, as you will collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders in a global environment.
