We are looking for a HW Test Engineer to join our R&D team in Nedre Vats or Oslo and play a key role in early-phase New Product Development (NPD). You will test hardware modules and sub-assemblies, uncover risks early, and help shape robust, high-quality products. 

What you’ll do 

  • Plan and execute hardware tests for modules and sub-assemblies 

  • Set up and run lab testing, rigs, and instrumentation 

  • Analyze results and identify failures, trends, and improvement areas 

  • Support root cause investigations and validation of design changes 

  • Work closely with hardware engineers to provide fast, actionable feedback 

  • Contribute to improving test methods, setups, and practices

 

What we’re looking for 

  • Background in mechanical, electronics, firmware or automation engineering 

  • Hands-on experience with testing, prototyping, or lab work 

  • Structured and analytical approach to problem-solving 

  • Ability to turn test results into clear insights and actions 

  • Strong collaboration skills and a proactive mindset 

  • Relevant engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
