This position reports to:

Team Lead

__

Your Role & Responsibilities

In this role, you will handle complex technical issues in the field of motion control and support our international teams in providing reliable customer service within industrial environments.

You will take ownership of challenging 2nd-level support cases, systematically analyze faults, reproduce issues, and work closely with the development team to develop sustainable solutions. Drawing on your practical experience, you will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our products, their usability, and the associated documentation.

Rather than focusing on individual products alone, you will operate at the intersection of software, hardware, and applications, developing a comprehensive understanding of their interactions, dependencies, and overall system behavior.

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

The work model for the role is: onsite with 10 home office days a month

  • Independently handle product-related inquiries and provide remote support (with occasional on-site customer visits).
  • Analyze feedback from international locations regarding product quality, usability, and documentation.
  • Identify and resolve issues in machine processes and their simulations.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team, particularly in the field of motion technology.

Our team dynamics

We are a young, dynamic team that works closely together, supports one another, and continuously strives to improve.

A structured onboarding process is important to us: You will begin with an intensive four-month training program (E Camp) designed to provide you with the technical foundation needed to excel in your role.

Being part of our team means that your work matters—your contributions are visible and have a direct impact on our products and customers worldwide.

What it takes to Run what runs the world

  • Completed technical education (technical college, university of applied sciences, or university degree) in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Structured, independent, and reliable working style.
  • Strong analytical thinking and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills for international collaboration.
  • Experience or a strong interest in industrial automation and motion technology, such as drives, motors, motion control, commissioning, and troubleshooting, as well as initial knowledge of function blocks, system configuration, motor motion sequences, and a basic understanding of different drive families and their specific characteristics.
  • Interest in developing a holistic understanding of systems, including software, hardware, and applications.
  • Willingness to provide remote support and occasionally travel to customer sites.

We offer a full range of benefits to help you thrive at work and beyond:

  • Work-Life Balance – Flexible working models, including flextime and hybrid options, to support your personal and professional life.

  • Health & Well-being – Access to various health measures, a Global Employee Assistance Program, and a gender-neutral parental leave policy

  • Financial Perks – Participation in the Global Employee Shareholder Acquisition Program (ESAP) and meal allowances.

  • Career Growth – Extensive training opportunities and structured development programs to help you advance.

  • Inclusive Culture – An international work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.

The minimum compensation, in accordance with the electrical and electronics industry collective agreement, is 3.888,53 EUR monthly for a full-time position as of May 2026. But we would be pleased to speak in person about your compensation package in relation to your qualifications and experience!
